President Tsai Ing-wen [蔡英文] visited Taoyuan, in northern Taiwan, on April 8, the company SCI Pharmtech, supplier of the active substance hydroxychloroquine. SCI Pharmtech has just donated one ton of this active ingredient to the Headquarters to fight against the epidemic (CECC), the equivalent of five million doses. At least three additional tonnes will be produced for the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs to ensure sufficient supplies to handle moderate cases of Covid-19 .
